A day-by-day feel
Day 1 · morning
Chengdu to Mount Emei
High-speed train (about 1.5 hours) or private car to the mountain. We meet you and help with the mountain entrance ticket and shuttle bus.
Day 1 · afternoon
Lower slopes & temples
Visit Baoguo Temple and the Qingyin Pavilion area, then ride the shuttle up the mountain and check into a hotel near the summit or mid-mountain.
Day 2 · pre-dawn
Golden Summit for sunrise
Early cable car up to catch sunrise and, on clear days, a sea of clouds and the golden Puxian statue.
Day 2 · midday
Descend & return
Explore a little more, then take the shuttle down and return to Chengdu, or continue to Leshan.
