Leshan Buddy is an English-speaking local companion who meets you at your hotel (in Chengdu or Leshan) and stays with you through the day — helping you navigate, translate, buy tickets and find the best spots. It costs ¥800 a day plus a ¥200 daily service fee, which covers your companion's own entrance tickets. It is not a guided group tour; it is like exploring with a local friend.
Arriving in a place where almost nothing is in English can turn a great day into a stressful one. Signs, ticket machines, shuttle buses, ride-hailing apps and menus are mostly Chinese-only, and staff rarely speak English. A local companion removes that friction so you can relax and enjoy the Buddha and the mountain.
We walk (and ride) with you the whole day: finding the right entrance, joining the correct queue, catching the shuttle to the Golden Summit, translating with staff and locals, taking your photos, and steering you away from tourist traps. You set the pace — linger at the Buddha's feet or race to catch the sunrise, it is your day.

Good to know
- We are local companions and assistants, not licensed guides — we share informal local knowledge and help you get around, rather than giving formal monument lectures.
- The ¥200 service fee is charged for each day your companion is with you and covers their own entrance tickets and similar costs. Your own tickets, meals and shopping you pay directly, at the normal price.
- One companion looks after 1–6 people. Tell us if you're a family, couple or friends.
- If your trip includes an overnight stay, you also cover your companion's room for the night.
