We're a small, independent team based in Sichuan — not a big agency and not licensed tour guides. We help foreign visitors enjoy two of China's most beautiful places without the usual friction.
Why we started
Every week we watched foreign visitors arrive at the Leshan Giant Buddha and Mount Emei excited, then get stuck — ticket apps that reject foreign passports, Chinese-only signs, shuttle buses with no English, and menus they couldn't read. The places are world-class; the experience of reaching them often isn't.
Leshan Buddy exists to fix that. We meet you, walk you through the day, translate, sort the tickets and transport, and point you to the food locals actually love. It feels less like a tour and more like having a friend who happens to live here.
What we are — and aren't
We're local companions, fixers and trip planners. We arrange licensed drivers and cars, help you book real-name passport tickets, and accompany you to help with language and logistics. We are not a licensed tour-guide company and we don't run big coach tours — so instead of a scripted monument lecture, you get honest, informal local help and total flexibility.
